Pete Metz is the Transportation Associate for the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE). He is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of ACORE's Transportation Initiative. Pete works directly with ACORE's members and with transportation and renewable energy industry groups to realize a 21st Century transportation system sourced by renewable energy.
Prior to joining ACORE in 2012, Pete worked as a fellow with the Transportation for America campaign. He also served in the office of Policy and Legislative Services for the Ohio Department of Transportation, and has experience working on federal, state, and local campaigns.
Pete received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from The Ohio State University, with minors in Public Policy and Urban and Regional Studies.
