Washington, DC, August 4, 2009 —The American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE) and the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) have collaborated to identify research, development, demonstration and deployment (RDD&D) requirements that would enable broad expansion of renewable energy.

New York, New York – June 25, 2009: The core
message coming out of yesterday’s REFF-Wall Street conference session was a
call for the government to clarify the parameters the Department of Energy’s
grant and loan programs, in order to free up private capital and stimulate the
flow of financing in the industry. This point was driven home by Matt Rogers,
Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Energy on the Recovery Act in his keynote
speech Wednesday morning.

Euromoney Energy Events, REFF-Wall Street is the leading national
conference of over 600 top executives, developers, investors and
lenders in the renewable energy industry. The main theme of this year’s
event is the effect of the financial crisis and economic recession on
renewable energy companies and projects, and the steps that need to be
taken to ensure that the sector has the financing, incentives and
support to thrive.

The press conference explored the status of stimulus funding and
speakers offered recommendations on how to move funds quickly into the

The RETECH trade show and conference, to be held in February 2010, was launched two years ago by ACORE to focus on the full pectrum of renewable and alternative energy technologies. Washington D.C., March 18, 2009 -- The American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE) has launched a first of its kind website to help U.S. companies connect with Chinese companies and institutions that are working to expand and finance renewable energy development projects in China. The site is located at www.acorechina.org and provides English language news updates on activities in Solar, Wind, RE Policy and other initiatives underway across China, including information on regulations for doing business in China, downloadable market analyses and reports, and contact information on key industry and government decision makers.
