Washington, DC – Heather Zichal, Deputy Assistant to the President for Energy and Climate Change, announced that she is stepping down from her post in a matter of weeks.  “Heather Zichal has been a tremendous force for advancing the President’s climate change and renewable energy goals,” said Michael Brower, ACORE interim President and CEO. “The policies of the last few years have led to significant private investment in and development of our nation’s abundant renewable energy resources. Heather and her team have done an outstanding job in working with others in the Administration, Congress and the private sector to support these accomplishments. We extend to her our best wishes for continued success.”
