Economics and Financial Services Committee
The Economics and Financial Services Committee will be composed of professionals from ACORE’s members who convene regularly through the ACORE Committee structure to advance the economic and financial benefits of the renewable energy field.
The Economics and Financial Services Committee will also serve as a primary forum for ACORE’s Center for Economic Research which is the analytical and policy cornerstone of ACORE.
The Center for Economic Research and members of the Economics and Financial Services Committee will act as a vehicle for strategic analysis and also as a rapid response forum to consider potential outcomes and impacts of renewable energy policy options and opportunities vis-à-vis the national economy. Our belief is that a renewable energy future is an economically superior future, offering investment opportunities, wealth creation, accelerated economic growth, new company formation and jobs. The Committee will work to document this framework for the future. The Committee and its influential members will pioneer thought leadership on how the economics of renewable energy are leading the energy industry to become part of the solution for energy independence for the United States and globally.
