Net Zero at the Tactical Edge Symposium, Arizona State University, Polytechnic Campus in Mesa, AZ
Feb 13-14, 2012
This workshop will create an opportunity for DoD to articulate to industry its operational and tactical Net Zero challenges at the tactical edge through the use of operational vignettes while providing an opportunity for Industry to share with DoD its current and future capabilities as well as articulate the obstacles they perceive in getting solutions to DoD. It will be a 2 -day workshop for the purpose of bringing together commercial, academic, U.S. government and other entities who are interested in issues for development and testing of solutions for the U.S. government partners related to green energy and sustainability for small FOBs. While it is anticipated there may be one or more government sponsors/participants of this event, the primary focus is U.S. Army Rapid Equipment Force (REF).
The workshop will be open to all companies that are eligible to do business with the U.S. government. Specific objectives are:
• Disseminate information from government partners
• Provide a platform for respondents to present state of the art information
• Provide the opportunity for one-on-one discussions
• Provide an area for a mini-expo for participants and vendors to showcase their technologies in an open, unclassified environment.
