House GOP Agrees to Hold Climate-Science Hearing at Request of Democrats

Mar.1, 2011 -- Republicans on the House Energy and Commerce Committee agreed Tuesday to hold a hearing next week on climate science at the request of top Democrats on the panel. The hearing comes as Republicans on the committee, led by full committee Chairman Fred Upton (R-Mich.), are preparing to move legislation that would permanently block the Environmental Protection Agency from regulating greenhouse gas emissions. >>Full story
