Media and Policy Briefings on America's Renewable Energy Potential, Tuesday, May 1, 2007

Washington, D.C. - If there is ANY doubt in your mind whether renewable energy sources can meet the demand for new electric generating capacity over the next two decades and President Bush's goal of 35 billion gallons a year of biodiesel and ethanol-blended fuels by 2017, please join us either at the media briefing via telephone or in-person policy briefing - both next Tuesday, May 1 - on the 2007 Joint Outlook for Renewable Energy from the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE). A copy of the 2007 Joint Outlook is free to journalists who register for either briefing.

Note: On Friday, May 4, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is scheduled to release the next report in its series on global warming. This next report is to focus on mitigation options such as renewable energy.
