Financiers to Converge on Renewable Energy

5th Anniversary of Renewable Energy Finance Forum – Wall Street to be held at Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City

New York - June 4, 2008 – The American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) and Euromoney Energy Events (EEE) are proud to host this year’s 5th annual Renewable Energy Finance Forum on June 17-19th at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City. This anniversary marks the financial community’s recognition of the long-term growth potential of renewable energy.

REFF-Wall Street is the largest finance forum in the renewable energy sector. Attendance has grown significantly, and over 600 executives are expected to gather at this year’s event. Attendees include senior financial leaders in the US renewable energy industry, as well as key international players. Topics to be discussed at this year’s event include trends in venture capital investment, creating liquidity in a tight market, the biofuels and biodiesel markets, and how to evaluate risk exposure in the developing U.S. carbon finance markets.

“REFF-Wall Street is a rare opportunity where all the key players in the industry come together in the world capital of project finance, New York City,” said event co-chair John Cavalier, Managing Partner of Hudson Clean Energy Partners, and formerly Vice Chairman of Investment Banking, Chairman of the Global Energy Group at Credit Suisse, and Head of Renewable Energy at Credit Suisse.
