Colorado’s Wind-Power Capacity Seen Growing By 26% In 2012
October 25 -- The amount of electricity Colorado can generate from the wind is expected to grow by 26 percent before the year ends. That will boost the state’s total capacity for wind power by 467 megawatts from 1,805 megawatts currently, according to figures from the American Wind Energy Association, to 2,272 megawatts — enough wind power to support 568,000 home should all the wind farms be operating at full capacity at the same time. >>View Article
