December 12 -- A new report shows demand downstate should continue for wind energy from the Texas Panhandle.

The study found that the downstate grid run by the Electric Reliability Council of Texas could accommodate all levels of renewable energy likely to develop through 2026 with no reliability problems, according to a news release from the Texas Clean Energy Coalition, which commissioned the report.
