The Biomass Thermal Energy Council (BTEC) is a non-profit trade association dedicated to advancing the use of biomass for heat and combined heat-and-power (CHP) energy applications. BTEC members share the view that biomass thermal energy is a renewable, responsible, clean and energy-efficient pathway to meeting America's energy needs.

The Center for Climate and Security
The Center for Climate and Security is an action-oriented think tank and convenor, with a distinguished Advisory Board of former military leaders and security professionals. We facilitate policy development processes and dialogues, provide analysis, consolidate existing reports into short, digestible documents, conduct research, and act as a resource hub in the climate and security field.


Citizens' Utility Board of Oregon
The Citizens' Utility Board of Oregon (CUB) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1984.  CUB's mission is to represent the interests of Oregon's residential utility customers before administrative, judicial and legislative bodies, such as the Oregon Public Utility Commission and the Oregon Legislature.


Energy Future Coalition
The Energy Future Coalition is a nonpartisan public policy initiative that seeks to speed the transition to a new energy economy. Combining expertise and advocacy, the Coalition brings together business, labor, and environmental groups to identify new directions in energy policy with broad political support.

The Energy Future Coalition works closely with the United Nations Foundation, with which it is co-located, on energy and climate policy, especially energy efficiency and bioenergy issues. The UN Foundation provides financial and in-kind support to the Coalition.

The International Emissions Trading Association (IETA) is the leading global non-profit business organization created in June 1999 to establish an effective international framework for trading in greenhouse gas emission reductions.  IETA creates services, tools, information and forums for its members to prepare for, influence and live profitably with emissions trading systems of all types.

Comprising of more than 150 leading international companies from OECD and non-OECD countries, IETA'smembership and outreach covers a broad spectrum of participants from all parts of the emissions trading and climate finance industry in order to make us impartial between sectors, and ideally placed to give a broad view. IETA members seek to develop an emissions trading regime that results in real and verifiable GHG emission reductions, balancing economic efficiency with environmental integrity and social equity.

International Private Infrastructure Association
International Private Infrastructure Association (IPIA)
was established in 2004 as a membership association to reverse the 77% decline from 1998 to 2002 in financial institution lending for infrastructure in emerging economies. World Bank figures confirm a decline in annual private infrastructure investment from $120 billion per year in 1997 to $64 billion in 2004. IPIA's solution is country-based debt guarantees in the form of Payment Contingency Funds (PCF's). IPIA's customized Payment Contingency Funds provide a first tier of debt insurance backed by re-insurance. The result is re-enabling of non-recourse project financing.

Oregon Wave Energy Trust (OWET)
Oregon Wave Energy Trust (OWET) – with members from fishing and environmental groups, industry and government – is a nonprofit public-private partnership funded by the Oregon Innovation Council since 2007.
