The Renewable Energy Technology Conference & Exhibition (RETECH) 2009 will be at the Las Vegas Convention Center, February 24-26, 2009. RETECH promises to build on the success we have had at WIREC, and continue to demonstrate the strength and vitality of the Global and U.S. renewable energy industry.

ACORE first convened the Phase II conference in 2004, calling the nation to put new renewable energy technologies to use, and that discussion has continued every year since. The 2007 conference broadened perspectives once again, looking at the global outlook on renewable energy and putting U.S. development in the context of global factors.

The fifth annual REFF-Wall Street, being held June 18-19, 2008, will build on the enormous success of the 2007 event where over 700 leading financiers, developers and investors gathered at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. REFF-WS will once again bring together a high profile speaker panel dedicated to the financing of RE projects and companies. This must attend event will assemble the financial community to identify the major opportunities and issues facing U.S. and European investors into the U.S. renewables market.

The Trade Show at WIREC 2008 was the largest all-renewables business-to-business and business-to-government conference and exposition event ever held in the U.S. It featured renewable energy technology suppliers, systems integrators, professional services firms, end users, utility companies, energy companies, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, associations, government agencies, foreign governments and economic missions, and other exhibitors.
The Trade Show at WIREC 2008 was co-located with the Ministerial Meeting at the Washington International Renewable Energy Conference (WIREC 2008). The Ministerial Meeting, which was hosted by the U.S. State Departmnet, included members of government in the U.S. and abroad, as well as members of the private sector and civil society.

The American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE) in collaboration with the Renewable Energy Resources Committee of the American Bar Association SEER Section & Renewable Energy Committee of the Energy Bar Association, hosts a monthly Renewable Energy teleconference series. These monthly seminars provide an opportunity for lawyers and non-lawyers to network and discuss the subject matter with renewable energy legal experts, federal and state policy makers, and business leaders.
