Higher Education Committee (HEC)
Member Benefits
With annual membership in ACORE, colleges and universities may participate in the Higher Education Committee. HEC members will engage in a range of activities through this program, including:
Regional and national collaboration with other accredited institutions;
- Working Groups focused on each mission area;
- Annual meetings and interim events;
- Awards program for institutions that have demonstrated leadership and innovation.
In addition, membership in ACORE and the Higher Education Committee provides institutions with the unique opportunity to network with the professionals and organizations that comprise ACORE's eight functional areas.

Higher Education Committee Member Benefits include:
Professional Development and Networking Opportunities: The HEC offers regional meetings; an Annual Meeting in conjunction with a national conference; workshops, webcasts and teleconferences.
Toolbox and Publications: Benefits will include a quarterly newsletter - Renewable Energy on Campus; online reports; special research reports on the mission areas of interest; member-only web pages with Higher Education-specific links; connection with renewable energy resources; and briefs on best practices.
Publicity: Member institutions receive media exposure of newsworthy programs, accomplishments, and events at their institutions through the ACORE Communications Program, as well as coverage in ACORE newsletters, and member updates.
Discounts: Members enjoy discounts on the cost of national conferences, regional meetings, professional development programs, advertising in Renewable Energy on Campus, and subscriptions to New Energy Finance and other ACORE publications.
