POWER-GEN Renewable Energy & Fuels (PGRE&F)

ACORE and its partner PennWell Corporation held the fourth annual POWER-GEN Renewable Energy & Fuels (PGRE&F) conference and exhibition on March 6-8, 2007 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Four years from its standing start in 2004, PGRE&F is the only all-renewables trade show in the US. Its quick growth has reinforced ACORE's motivating premise that there is a need, and a large audience, for such an all-renewable energy event.

2007 Stats

Exhibitors
170 companies sent representatives to Las Vegas to exhibit at PGRE&F this year, up from the original 51 exhibitors in its inaugural year, 2004. The ACORE member companies on the trade show floor in 2007 ranged from technology developers to manufacturers, project developers, engineers, systems integrators, traditional power systems companies, law firms, consulting firms, green power providers, and information publishers.

Attendees
More than 2,300 people from utilities, industry, finance, government and universities attended the conference and exhibition, a large expansion from 950 in the show's inaugural year, 2004.
