February 27, 2009 âEUR" Las Vegas, NV: Over 3,000 world leaders in renewable energy gathered in Las Vegas, NV at the Renewable Energy Technology Conference and Exhibition (RETECH 2009), hosted by the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE), February 25-27, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

With the passage of President ObamaâEUR(TM)s Economic Stimulus package, funding will now be available for renewable energy projects, including the creation of a SmartGrid for renewable energy transmission, and funding for biomass, biofuels, wind, hydro, geothermal and solar energy projects.

ACORE will host a gathering of renewable energy finance and investment at REFF (Renewable Energy Finance Forum) Wall Street, June 23-24, at the Waldorf =Astoria Hotel in New York City, again at REFF West, September 29-30, at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco and at the Phase II policy conference in December.
