Todd Foley Joins the American Council On Renewable Energy

April 28, 2010; Washington, DC -- The American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE) announced today that renewable energy policy leader, Todd Foley, has joined the non-profit in the role of Senior VP of Policy and Government Relations.

Former Commissioner of the California Energy Commission, and Co-Chairman of ACOREâEUR(TM)s Board of Directors, John Geesman added, âEURoeTodd will bring considerable stature to ACORE's policy agenda, both in the U.S. and globally. He has an unparalleled reputation for insightfulness in renewable energy circles.âEUR


Prior to joining ACORE, Mr. Foley served in several industry and Federal government positions, including most recently 12 years at BP Solar where he was director of business development and external affairs. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA), Solar Alliance and Texas Renewable Energy Industries Association (TREIA). Mr. Foley is a graduate of Boston College (B.S) and the American University Washington College of Law (J.D.).
