Washington, DC – Stephen E. Morgan, a member of the ACORE Board of Directors and CEO of American Clean Energy, has just been elected to the Board of Directors of the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA). Morgan has been involved in electric power generation and clean energy production for over 30 years. Based out of New Jersey, he has worked with both the utilities and energy producers to serve a customer base of over four million individuals.

Stephen Morgan is the CEO of American Clean Energy, a New Jersey based developer of solar installations for commercial and industrial customers. Until retirement in 2009 he was CEO and Chairman of Jersey Central Power and Light serving 1.1 million customers in New Jersey. His background with FirstEnergy Corporation, the parent of JCP&L, spanned nearly 33 years and included engineering, operational management and senior executive positions including VP of Transmission and Delivery, across their service territories in Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
