Peter Flynn is Executive Vice President of Bostonia Partners, a financial services and investment-banking firm that concentrates principally on structuring innovative financing solutions for introduction into the capital markets, asset ownership and providing independent financial advisory services to both the public and private sectors. Mr. Flynn focuses on financing energy efficiency, distributed generation and renewable energy projects, as well as project finance, securitization and public private partnerships. At Bostonia, Mr. Flynn has financed over $1.5 billion in federal, municipal and commercial energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Recently, Mr. Flynn was lead banker for the financing of the largest solar PV system operating on US Army land for which Bostonia serves as the solar asset owner. In addition, he was lead banker on the largest-ever international and domestic Federal energy savings projects, a $102 million co-generation project for the US Navy at Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan and a $213 million co-generation project for the Food and Drug Administration’s White Oak Campus.
Mr. Flynn is a frequent speaker on topics including financing of energy and real estate projects. He is the co-author of the article “Unique Issues Associated with Financing Federal Government Receivables” that appeared in The Journal of Structured Finance. Mr. Flynn is a member of the American Council on Renewable Energy’s Advisory Committee on National Defense and Security.
Mr. Flynn is a graduate of Boston University School of Law and Syracuse University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
